Real mulberry silk — the gold standard for hair and skin. At a dense 19 momme, this pillowcase lets your hair glide to prevent breakage, frizz, and creasing, while the natural fibers help your skin hold onto moisture overnight. Finished with a hidden invisible zipper for a clean, seamless look. Available in black, navy, dark grey, silver grey and white.

Why silk works

The science, in four pictures.

Satin versus silk fabric

Real silk, not just “smooth.”

Satin is only a weave — usually polyester underneath. Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber, so it’s gentler on your hair and skin right down to the thread.

Healthy hair close-up

Zero drag on every strand.

Silk’s fibers are finer and smoother than cotton or any synthetic, so hair glides across instead of catching. Less friction means fewer split ends and less breakage overnight.

Frizzy versus smooth hair

Cool all night, calm in the morning.

Silk breathes and regulates temperature, so you sleep cooler. You wake up with smoother, frizz-free hair and calmer skin — no morning fight before you head out.

Water droplet on silk

Keeps your moisture where it belongs.

Cotton drinks up your hair and skin’s natural oils all night. Silk barely absorbs any, so you wake up hydrated instead of dry and brittle.

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before you switch.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle (a mesh laundry bag helps) or hand wash with a mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener, then air-dry or tumble dry on low. It keeps its softness and sheen wash after wash.

Will it actually help my hair?

Yes. The smooth surface cuts the friction cotton creates as you move at night, so you get fewer split ends, less breakage, and far less morning frizz — and it helps your hair hold onto its natural moisture instead of drying out.

What size should I choose?

Our pillowcases fit standard and queen pillows, and the bonnet’s elastic band fits most head sizes. Check the size options on each product before adding to cart.

Silk or satin — what’s the difference?

Satin is a smooth weave (usually polyester) and a real upgrade over cotton. Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber — gentler, more breathable, and better at holding moisture. Want the details? See the full comparison.

Is it good for my skin too?

Yes. The low-friction surface is gentler on skin, helps prevent sleep creases, and won’t tug or soak up your skincare the way cotton does. Mulberry silk is also naturally hypoallergenic.

How long will it last?

With gentle care, years. Silk and quality satin are durable and hold their softness and shine far longer than cotton.
