A large, double-layer satin bonnet built to protect your hair every night. The smooth satin lining cuts friction, frizz and breakage while locking in moisture — made for waves, curls, coils, locs and braids. Reversible, adjustable, and roomy enough for longer hair. The simplest upgrade to your nighttime routine.

Why satin works

The science, in four pictures.

Cotton versus satin fabric

Cotton grabs. Satin glides.

Cotton's rough weave snags every strand as you toss and turn. Satin lets your hair slip right across it — no friction, no snapping.

Healthy hair close-up

Keep the length you're growing.

Less friction means fewer broken ends, so the hair you grow actually stays on your head instead of breaking off overnight.

Frizzy versus smooth hair

Wake up smooth, not frizzy.

Go to bed with your hair right and wake up with it — no morning frizz to fight before you leave the house.

Water droplet on satin

Locks in moisture.

Cotton drinks up your hair's natural oils all night. Satin keeps them where they belong, so you wake up hydrated, not dry and brittle.

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before you switch.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle (a mesh laundry bag helps) or hand wash with a mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener, then air-dry or tumble dry on low. It keeps its softness and sheen wash after wash.

Will it actually help my hair?

Yes. The smooth surface cuts the friction cotton creates as you move at night, so you get fewer split ends, less breakage, and far less morning frizz — and it helps your hair hold onto its natural moisture instead of drying out.

What size should I choose?

Our pillowcases fit standard and queen pillows, and the bonnet’s elastic band fits most head sizes. Check the size options on each product before adding to cart.

Silk or satin — what’s the difference?

Satin is a smooth weave (usually polyester) and a real upgrade over cotton. Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber — gentler, more breathable, and better at holding moisture. Want the details? See the full comparison.

Is it good for my skin too?

Yes. The low-friction surface is gentler on skin, helps prevent sleep creases, and won’t tug or soak up your skincare the way cotton does. Mulberry silk is also naturally hypoallergenic.

How long will it last?

With gentle care, years. Silk and quality satin are durable and hold their softness and shine far longer than cotton.
